Well I'm back home safe and sound. Bloody warm here with full sun so what a day for gardening.

It was nice to see Brin on Tuesday night and a few more folk that I've chatted to on Twitter. I also got chance to see some old friends that were kids and infants when we left the UK.

It turns out that John Breckin is a really nice guy in the flesh. He was chatting with my dad more than me though. My dad and Les Payne are old friends which left me a bit in the wings listening to old footballers of Rotherham that played with all three of them. A truly splendid evening!

Sam Todd and Matt Goodwin are absolute gents. We had a great chat before the game when we were introduced to one and other. On your behalf I thanked them for their efforts, professionalism and interaction. In return they thanked all fans wherever they are for their feedback and support.

Now I'm back at home with a bottle of homebrew watching from my sofa with some great memories.

As always an interesting read, Frog. I've got to know Sam Todd a bit in the last couple of months - just through emailing and he seems a really decent lad.

He really is. If you've read Breckin's book he is mentioned along with his mother. You can see that he's made of good decent stuff.
