    Is Marcus too nice ???

    Cos he seems that way.
After Ismael snarling and frightening everyone around him to death - are the players taking advantage of this gentle Austrian fella.

Yes, plus his two coaches seem quite bland

    Not a chance.

Why the rumours of numerous players having fall outs with him?

He comes across as a bit of a sh1thouse to me.

Dont be fooled be his demeanour.

He does 'seem' to be that way, a total opposite to Val Ismael of course. But don't be fooled, none of us know him for sure do we ?.

Ismael appeared to be a bully(with a history of cheating-fact) who freetend the young kids and probably affected the mental health of Simoes and Thomas.

Schopp seems out of his depth in the English second tier.

At the end of the day he's the manager. Its down to him for everyone to know their role.
What he does that clearly shows a lack of leadership is he asks players' opinion, what they think of this that and t'other. If I was a player I would then think he has no clue what he's doing

AS for Woodrow regarding corner kicks and saying what he has, this is a simple one - he would get dropped, I wouldnt give 2 hoots if we had to play a youth player. He wouldnt speak out of turn under VI as he wouldve understood the consequences.

Players are openly criticising training and lack of practice in areas of the pitch - here's a suggestion, arrange your own training session after 1pm or would you rather go home and feel sorry for yourselves? - we know the answer to that!

The old addage of 'once you've crossed the white line' blah blah blah, well, once you've crossed it just do what you want as he probably wouldnt say anything anyway and would take all the plaudits

This so called head coach is way out of his depth at Barnsley,he was the wrong choice from the start and now we are stuck with him because the owners show no signs of sacking him so he can sit on the fence and not bother because he will be on a good wage knowing that he can go back to his own little home with a good pay off should they sack him.He will be made for life.He is a small time coach from a small time town as one poster said he is from a small town club the size of Stocksbridge Steels so why the hell did the owners pick up on him. With him at the helm there is no doubt that relegation is odds on at the end of the season unless something drastic is done soon. And with these owners I can see this club ending up in the Conference League or even lower like York City..
