Val Says My Captain Will Always Start!

Val made this stupid and very thick statement before the Fulham match yesterday - my captain Livermore will always start! Yes this useless player and weak link always starts so bollox to Molumby who played excellent,

Villa have just kicked off against West Ham and Dean Smith has dropped Mings the Captain to the bench for not playing well. Yes Mings the England player!

The irony of statements and choices and respect of players who play well and play
    s hite!

PS - wish we had Mings over Bartley and Ajayi!

Mick has shorts on at the ready! Hopefully Santa will bring him some long Trousers next time he frequents our neighbourhood 😭

Val should have changed the system for Fulham away; neither Molumby nor Snodgrass deserved to be dropped, but he could have brought Livermore back and played him alongside Molumby, with Snodgrass in front of those two. Surely he needs some variation sometimes?

Can’t see why Livermore was brought back! Fat Sam sussed out Livermore being the weak link

As it turned out Snodgrass had a 'mare' but it doesn't alter the fact that both he and Molumby deserved their places after the Britol performance. To say that you can't drop the captain is ridiculous and extremely concerning. When Mowett is fit, Molumby should play alongside him but obviously he won't.

NB Hey…I played centre half 1966 onwards in the Birmingham AFA Saturdays pm and Sutton Sunday League (Sun mornings) Maybe you would consider me Tipp buddy. (And I’m the wrong side of 70 !)

Sounds like you've got just the experience we need Prando. So that's our back three sorted then, Al, Mick and Prando. Now we are on the lookout for a decent striker so there must be someone out there who has managed to score a few goals in Sunday morning football?

Tom Daly perhaps who could still do his knitting and still touch the ball more times than Hugill up front. Tom likes banging it in!

Sorry, couldn't play up front for you but could play in goal. Played in Leics. Senior League. One claim to fame is that I played in the opposite goal to Peter Shilton. Leicester Boys were in the Schools Final v Swansea, 1966 if my memory is correct, and they played a practice game leading up to it against our College 1st X1. Jeff Blockley was in the same side. Romeo Challenger, the drummer with Shoowaddywaddy, was also in that side. Who can remember him or them? Drew 3-3!
