    Team versus Hull

After that performance versus Fulham surely some changes needed, although I am far from convinced we will see many bar the replacement needed for Furlong.

I can see Phillips playing wingback instead of Furlong, but even if he does I think we need to give either of Gardner-Hickman, or Ingram, a run out in that position for the last 20 minutes or so. Personally I would start with one of them and play Phillips further upfield.

Surely Hugill cannot start? Not a great fan of his or any of our experienced options, Zahore or Robinson, so for me Robinson to start with a view to giving one of the youngsters a run out for the last 15/20 minutes as sub, ahead of Hugill or Zahore.

Definitely have at least 3 youngsters in the squad and let’s start giving them some game time.

I actually think the 3-4-3 system is better suited to wide attacking players, especially when playing teams expected to sit in, than defenders who can get forward.

However, as we've so far seen Townsend and Furlong out wide where possible (injury to Clarke aside = Reach) I'd fully expect one of Ingram or G-H to start.

I would start as per Bristol, but with Phillips to left back, Robinson in to RW, that would do it.

I would start with Hugill and Livermore both on the bench!

I’d say Phillips will be RWB. and Dianga up top on the right.
Maybe a shuffle at the back 3 with Kean in and Ayai out is in Val mind, its Hull at home so he won’t get a better chance to try something new.
Either way my issue with the Huge Nill we have up front. Honestly, i rate Zohore better than him thats how bad he is.

Can someone update me on Tullock. I know he was injured just before the cup game but what is the situation with him.
Also the lad Castro, one for the future? but is that just an excuse to cover up a poor recruitment decision.

Tullock should be given an opportunity and Zohore is probably better than Hugill but he’s a lazy c unt! I really hope Livermore, Hugill and Ajayi are all benched as useless! Philips may or may not turn up! Glad Coronation Street is on at the same time as may provide better entertainment with Betty’s Hotpot even though she’s been dead 10 years or more

At least Hugill puts in the effort, which Zohore doesn’t. You can cut some slack with someone who isn’t good enough but tries their best but there’s no excuse for laziness on the football pitch, no matter how talented (which Zohore isn’t).

Yes i can’t believe that I suggested Zohore myself but I’m more that concerned
It’s ironic but HRK would probably have been more effective than Huge Nill. HRK was always high energy and did pose a genuine threat to defenders.
So let’s look back at Austin, let face it he was a failure for us, but he did also have a history of success behind him, So did many others but Hughill has an awful record including assists
Zohore was quickly identified as unfit for purpose. But somehow managed to dupe Val at the right time and was welcomed on board. Then as by default he then revered back to him normal lazy self.
As I see it basically on the eve of the transfer Window we were scrambling about desperate to find forward who we could loan as there was no money
Edit, wanted to include thats when we should have called HRK given the choice and Hughills record

I have watched Zahore turning out for the kids and he still ain't anything. Scuffing shots and missing penalties. He ain't the answer and Hugill is a far better bet for what it's worth.
