    Nuno Sacked!

Poisoned chalice of a job never had a chance at Spurs! IMO a very good manager and a good guy with it.

Player power always gets the manager the sack.

    Newcastle next?
He was never wanted by Spurs even before he was appointed.
Decent manager but a wrong fit for Tottenham.

Problem was he went in as 3rd or 4th choice .... and the Spurs fans knew it .....then he had the Kane situation to deal with .... and ruthless operator like Levy who always has an itchy trigger when things go wrong ..... never had a chance

I recall Conte was being considered for the job before they appointed Nuno. I thought he would get the job but very suddenly he was ruled out. I spoke to a Spurs fan of mine about this and he said it was likely down to transfers. Levy is ‘careful’ over the matter and this clashed with Conte’s preference for bringing in proven big names straight away wherever he goes. Apparently he is now the frame for the Spur’s job. I wonder what has happened?

Losing Poccetino was their biggest mistake, terrific fit for Spurs.

They’ll get Conte and then regret it.

They need to stop p I s s I n g about at Spurs and get their former manager back and start to actually act like a big club on transfers.

Levy always strikes me as being Peace’s cousin, too busy keeping a tidy house and never having the b o l l o c k s to throw a wild party.
