Anyone been to the ground today?

    Is it busy?
I still think we are 500 or so short of the record.

I'd be surprised if they'd set themselves up for a fall with all the 'we can beat the record' stuff if they weren't confident of doing it.

I'd also be very surprised if we didn't sell 500 on the day to home and away fans.

We just got a very quick mention on hoping to break the record on ITV Central news.

There doesn't look to be many seats left in the Pavis stand and Kop
I wished they'd opened the Jimmy sirrell stand for home fans.

    This^^

If the club are putting out statements like the one below. You can pretty much guarantee we've already all but surpassed the record.

Bristol Rovers attracted a crowd of 11,085 for a fixture against Alfreton in 2015 - the highest recorded gate at a fifth-tier fixture.

But we're on course to beat that figure and are calling on everyone to get down to the Lane and cheer on the boys!

Aye, the comms guys aren’t stupid. They hadn’t even mentioned the record until earlier this week, presumably when sales picked up to around 10,000. With them putting videos out saying it’s in our sights and changing their messaging to that, I’d be surprised if sales hadn’t already surpassed it quite comfortably.

We're on the ''brink'' at the moment. What's next? Verge, edge, precipice?
