They died that we might live. I never wear a poppy cause I haven't served but get two flags for my parents grave who both served & grandparents grave where my grandfather served.

Me and the Mrs have just been to the ceremony in town. Loads of people there with a great number from the local school selling the Bleuiet (poppy equivelant), doing little speaches and playing music. The French equivelant to the last post, the Marseillais and then for some strange reason the European anthem.
But all in all it was a great turn out and was well respected by people of all generations.
