Good luck Warney and Smithie
Indeed. How good does this sound?
Paul Warne (Rotherham United)
Warne’s men made light work of a daunting-looking fixture list, collecting 13 points from five unbeaten games with a 14-2 goal differential. Portsmouth were beaten 4-1 and Sunderland 5-1 as their challenge gathered momentum.
Something like, Paul Warne-d the division with his vision, Smith led the line,
his goal-scoring form was sublime.
Do we want him to get it? You usually lose the next game after the manager of the month?
Uttis,I Was thinking about this before you posted and was wondering if ithe “curse”actually occurs often..?…
I never really follow it anymore.infact it’s because of warnes involment I am aware now.but it was quite a curse at one point back in the day..
I remember a quite prominent one involving us.billy mcewan won it once I am thinking maybe January time ..so Halfway through season.and we played Darlington at home..we hadn’t lost at home all season and Darlington hadn’t won away all season…he wins manger of month and yes we lose 2-1..
I still follow the sacked manager and then win next game is still prominent and quite profitable in betting terms.

Well done Smith
Never mind Warney you lost out to Ryan Lowe who you can’t argue about.
Actually just looking back I think Warney has been robbed

We had one draw while Plymouth drew two of theirs. Yeah, Warney was robbed.
