Very positive there, I hope Ardley is clapped, but I know better than that! I’ve felt all along that this has a draw written all over it

I thought I would start this nice and early and incorporate the news that Ardley has snaffled the National League manager of the month award.
Solihull’s keeper also gaining the player of the month for his 6 clean sheets in 7 games. Conceding once all October.
This is going to be a tough game where Burchball meets Ardleyball. Respecting the point has positioned Solihull nicely in the league.
However, I expect that Notts, buoyed by a bumper crowd as well as the curse for manager of the month to strike, will win.
My prediction is Notts to win 2-0
Wootton and Rodrigues to score.
14723 in attendance.
Ardley clapped on arrival.

Nah, easy win 3-0 to Notts.
Roddy 2, Wooters.

Ardley to get a decent welcome back, of course. A decent man.
I'll go 2-0 to Notts.
I hope (and think) Neil Ardley will receive a decent response when he returns to Meadow Lane. I wasn't inspired at times by his time in situ at Notts but he at all times showed a lot of dignity in the job and that he was a decent and principled man. For that he deserves something.

It's testament to Ardley as a human that he will get a decent reception given he is the only manager in the long history of the club to relegate us from the football league.
