    Another joins the race

West ham is apparently keen on brereton.
It's hardly surprising, the lad looks a all round footballer and a fantastic talent.
Armstrong didn't have many suitors for good reason.
We can only hope he stays but if he doesn't the price is at least a good one.
January isn't a good time to sell so at least 25 million up front for his services.

End of the day, he was treated disgracefully (like Mowbray) as a kid, booed, ridiculed and questioned. I would not blame him for leaving, it is just a job.
He is miles better than anyone else in the league, but is getting paid a tiny amounts in comparison to his peers. I will be shocked if he does not leave being honest. I hope he doesn't.
I'd suggest giving trying to get promoted a go. As that out-weighs the £25m we would get. But its not always that simple. Some club somewhere will turn his head.

I would not rule Armstrong returning back here on loan if Brero leaves. Arma clearly isn't going to make it at that level. That should have been clear anyway, but he believed his own hype. Cant really blame him.
He doesn't even start for a pretty poor Southampton side.
Turns out we got really good money for a lad who just hit a purple patch, that was it. He was never actually any good.
