    Not the worst.

I've long been convinced that football is, by some distance, the worst run sport in the world, now I'm not so sure. There is Lewis Hamilton, 12 seconds clear of Verstappen, with 5 laps to go and cruising to the World Championship. A car hits a wall and out comes the safety car, next news there's one lap to go and Max is on fresh tyres and right up Hamilton's backside.

How on earth does that work, even football, with it's incompetent refs, nonsensical directives and dysfunctional VAR, could not contrive an outcome so ludicrously unfair as that. I'm no fan of Hamilton's, but this guy risks his life every time he gets into a car, and to be robbed of the world championship by some tit in a suit staring at a computer screen doesn't seem right to me.

Football is promoted, it's now only the 2nd worst run sport in the world.

sinkov, I have to agree wholeheartedly on the fiasco yesterday, it was certainly Grand Theft Auto as far as the result was concerned and this is probably not the last that we hear of it. I am sure that Mercedes will be consulting lawyers somewhere!

I watched this FIAsco unfold. Daylight Robbery hardly covers it.

I think Hamilton will just say "Enough's enough" and walk away.

Really glad Hamilton got turned over ..He should have been disqualified in a grand prix ages ago and this race shouldn't have mattered .Well done Max in ousting the supercilious B..cnut.

Swings and roundabouts and as they say what goes round comes round .phook Hamilton the Bl...cnut

Anyway it's on a par with rugby Yawnion as being the most boring sport in the world.

Alfie, I love it when you play the miserable old git, I know you're not one really.

I have my black and white, Bah Humbug, Father Christmas hat besides me as I type Alfie, it'll be making it's annual debut at a party next Monday, if it doesn't get cancelled that is. Anyway back to the question, why do them big girl's blouses not want to play in winter ? Do they not like getting their shorts dirty or what ?

I watched it and felt the same, the stewards seemed to have conspired to ensure Waxy Maxy (who is also a k-nob) would win. In motorcycling if a race is red flagged after 3/4 of the race has been completed then the positions at the end of the last full lap are deemed the result which would have made hamilton champion.

The FIA just needed to follow there own rules and Hamilton would have won.
