I noticed how well this lad is doing for Blackburn this season (20 goals so far). Anyone seen him play?
He's a Chile international (3 goals in 9 appearances)
Might be worth a punt. He'll likely see us as a big step up and if we do go down we know he can score regularly in the Championship

The Chronic worried me today when they said that Wilson's injury had forced our owners to look for a striker-the inference I took was that they hadn't done so prior to this.
We need to buy someone at least at his level, given his injury record and then we need to look for backup, too.

According to Transfermarkt, his contact is up at the end of the season, so they might choose to cash in - especially if we throw in Gayle on loan and pay his wages.
