You think we will stay up? Heres what we need.

We re now at the half way point with 19 games and 19 left. We got just 11p.

We will probably need 40p to be safe. Thats 8 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses.

It sounds possible, but its not possible for the team we got. If we sign 3 really good players, I dont think that we be enough. We need at least 5. With the covid situation and i jury situation, I would say we need 7 or 8 New players, just to be in a position where we actually can pick up the points need.

50-60% of the starting lineup needs to be stregthen for the next 19 games. Thats 5 or 6 players. If you take injurys and covid into account, I would say 7 or 8 new players is the bare minimum of what we need to stay up. 9 or 10 would be even better.

Fringe squad players must be sent out on free transfer, to make room for new players.

I can’t imagine that 40 points are necessary to save this season. Those around us have lost so many points and their form is so poor that we should focus on points differential versus those around us.

We just need an upturn in form we’ll above 1pt/game (currently on 0.5/game). Probably 1.2pts/game or something realistic

Last night was a free point that could be invaluable in the long run. Yes, we dropped 2pt but I don’t think any neutral fan on the planet would have had us down for a win last night.

The biggest blow is losing Callum but maybe that is the prompt that StayLovely needs to cut some cheques at the BEGINNING of the window; not the end as was the case under Fat Pig. We need reinforcements up front and at the back. I think that Howay can coach our misfits into some kind of midfield - our shape last night was textbook.

I think 33 or 34 points might be enough to stay up this season. I'd happily take Maxwel Cornetto from Burnley + Dennis and Sarr from Watford. Strengthen us and weaken them

Agreed, what we need is a couple at the back, a couple midfield, and one upfront, all of fighting material and we'll be O.K.

We should have had the agreed players already sourced which it doesn’t seem to be the case.

Bearing that in mind I think we are as good as relegated now. We won’t have Wilson, Saint or Manquillo against Everton by then teams will have 4 or 5 games in hand.

Norwich, Newcastle and another will take the drop. It won’t be a bad thing as we can then see the rats leaving a sinking ship and we can rebuild. Looking at it logically which of our current squad are premier class players 3 maybe 4

we need another 23 points i reckon in 19 games. We need 8 wins to stay up.

Given that we dropped 2 points against Norwich and another 2 points against Burnley and another 2 against Manure , we are shooting ourselves in the foot.

However, we look to have found a formation/system and lineup that works for us.

8 wins will be difficult, need to win half our remaining games and without Wilson and ASM for a period.

I did hear that Amanda's team had been talking to top players regarding a January move, with the caveat that if we go down, they will be loaned out to a top side with all the funds paid by us. Trippier, a couple of German international defenders, Dembele, Zinchenko from Citeh on loan and and the Liverpool striker on loan too.

How accurate it is .. meh its all pie in the sky at the moment, we get linked with everyone

I hope the Everton game is postponed, give us a chance to get a decent side out now that the two players are injured

    Nope, I don't think we'll stay up.

One win in 19 and we've got to win another 8 at least?

Not happening, I'm afraid. You just get the feeling that we're in the middle of a perfect storm of everything possible conspiring against us-horrendous individual mistakes, rotten fixture list meaning we'll still be behind our rivals even when they've got 3 or 4 games in hand, Wilson getting a long-term injury, Refs and VAR making unbelievable decisions against us and in favour of our opponents, Willock suddenly turning into Kenedy.

Yes, things could actually be much worse. We've had the takeover and we've got Eddie Howe managing us but, for me, it's going to be too late. We're already at the stage where we're relying on other teams slipping up and for that to be happening in December??? Sorry to be a harbinger of doom but that's the way I see it.

Looking on the bright side, there's a better chance of getting my seat back in the Strawberry Corner if we do go down.

1 point a game is a BIG upturn, almost unrealistic.

40 points should be the target. If we end up in a close race or down to goal difference, we will be on the wrong side of things.

Anyway, I think we all agree that a massive spending in the window is our only chance.

Yep, if it wasn't for the new owners, we'd be fucked but, with the possibilities January brings, I haven't lost all hope yet.
