    25 Man Squad

This is the current squad named at the start of the season:

1 Martin Dúbravka 2 Ciaran Clark 3 Paul Dummett 5 Fabian Schär 6 Jamaal Lascelles 7 Joelinton 8 Jonjo Shelvey 9 Callum Wilson 10 Allan Saint-Maximin 11 Matt Ritchie 12 Jamal Lewis 14 Isaac Hayden 16 Jeff Hendrick 17 Emil Krafth 18 Federico Fernández 19 Javier Manquillo 21 Ryan Fraser 23 Jacob Murphy 24 Miguel Almirón 26 Karl Darlow 27 Freddie Woodman 28 Joe Willock 29 Mark Gillespie 34 Dwight Gayle 36 Sean Longstaff

Already a free space with having four goal keepers so presumably Woodman goes on loan and is replaced by Tripper. Should be some massive changes when the January squad list is submitted. If we get a left back, Dummett could go as he’s virtually always injured plus Hayden could be out for months so could be omitted for at last this season; then it’s onto those who are either finished at this level or were never good enough - Clark, Hendrick, Krafth etc. with the likes of Ritchie, Fraser etc. to follow but maybe in the summer.

id like to see us box clever on this, woodman isnt going to make it here imo.

offer 10m + Woodman and Gayle for Diaz at Blackburn
    offer 20m + S Longstaff for Digne
offer 10m + Clark, Hendricks and Ritchie for Lloyd Kelly

we get rid of some shlte , free up some wages and additional squad places .

Liking the look of that too - if we can pull off something I’m those lines, Arthur Daley himself would be proud!

Newcastle have made a £22.5m bid for Lucas Digne, with Sean Longstaff offered to Everton as part of the deal.
However left-back Digne has indicated he would prefer a move elsewhere, with London duo Chelsea & West Ham interested #NUFC
