If it were any consolation your Previous Manager....Val Ismael...

had the Baggies fans chanting through the game for him to get out, down the Den this afternoon. Justice bearing in mind he left you guys in the lurch so he could earn a few extra bucks. But we have sussed him out now, he plays the same each time.

Which is why he moved on…. Did well here, but bottled a second season. One season wonder and if it hadn’t been 5 subs and no fans he would have “bombed” here too.
In truth…… All he did was mask the rotting timbers of a structure that is dying.
Our fans know now just how decayed this club has become under these owners.

Luton, Coventry and Millwall. Clubs that have “kicked on”.

Barnsley FC. A club that’s kicked it’s fans to death.

Did you give the Baggies a warm welcome Claw ?

To be fair the owners were rubbing their hands to the tune of £2 million when he left, in fact I strongly believe he did not leave he was actually sold , also it would be nice to protest about your current league position when you are sat in the top 6 , those West Brom fans want to come & watch us then they would have something to whinge about , protesting when you are in the play off & just lost your first home match of the season , unbelievable Geoff !

Certainly did, we dominated the 2ed half, the Baggies don't seem to like any of the Barnsley bunch, Mowatt played, but was not that influential. Romared, have you seen the program with Peter Crouch coming up, he will be talking about how the Hamlet gave him his start in football.

Yes Shad, the Baggies are in the play off's yet the booing from their fans, they are lucky they are not in the Tykes position. According to reports you played with determination yesterday. Of course Baggies fans expect to go straight back up with the money they have spent. They paid £13 million for Olli Burke sold him to Sheff Utd and we have him on loan, and he nearly scored against them on sat.

I think there is an expectation level amongst groups of fans from clubs relegated from the premier league that they should bounce straight back up & I supposed backed by parachute payments I can see where they are coming from, but it is never that easy thankfully , you need competition at every level & the championship with the richest prize of all at stake is always going to be the most competitive & some of the baggies should remove the arrogant chip off their shoulders & accept that they have no God given right to bounce back & it is certainly not an easy task .

Val had the players for his style at Barnsley.
The tippy tappy high wage earners at WBA are not his type of players.

He needs Morris and Dike type players to form a focal point of attack.
He hasn’t got it at WBA - so he will fail.
And Barnsley hasn’t got it this season either - hence our position in the league.
Our forward play can only be described as dismal.

Barnsleys current forwards are light weight and easily brushed off the ball.
If Morris isn’t playing - nothing is sticking when played forward.
There is only Morris capable and strong enough to hold the ball up and bring others into play.

I’d have Ismael back at Barnsley in a flash.
Especially if he brought Dike with him.

Baggies threw their toys out the pram yesterday or should I say away end.... 2 flares and seats, our keeper had to come out some to avoid being hit. 20 yards.
