Callum Wilson out - will only get a few more games this season

Terrible news to be read here.

Apparently the calf injury is so bad that he might even be out for the rest of the season.

We really needed a comeback from him now that we didn't sign another striker IMO - with the right service, he will score goals. But obviously he's injured all the time.

Wood will have to start scoring goals immediately. I'm not confident about him at all though.

Speaking of injuries I see Fernandez is out of the lineup again, just what was this injury he sustained so long ago ?

Wilson is a decent player but a sick note I’m afraid

A serious calf injury is an unpredictable thing - ask Bale and Sergio Ramos. Sometimes it heals quickly. Sometimes it stays healed for a while. Sometimes they pop/pull again minutes into a match. We've got to hope that he manages a couple of deciding goals coming off the bench. But don't hold your breath to see him in a starting lineup for the rest of this season.

    Long covid apperently.

Real shame about Wilson, if we stay up he'll be gone by end of next season I think.

Massive blow. Hugely harms our chances of avoiding relegation.

As said, others are going to have to step up.
