    Will Watt do Well

Never started a match thread so apologies if stepping on toes.
Despite all reservations about our current form this is the game that could turn our season.

Win and we carry momentum into the cup game and I have a hunch we will.

As the title says it's written for Tony to be the man.
3-0 Utd but will take a scrappy 1 goal win

Kinnell, you think we have 3 goals in us? 😂

    I'll go for 1-0. 🙂

    Sorry TTT.
I just had a puff of Shedka's pipe feck knows what was in it but I now understand all his posts and I agree with his view.

Yeh 3-0, Edwards with a bullet, NcNulty with a rocket and Watt with a mazy followed by the GIRUPY stance

    I'm off for another puff

Like all our home games this season, will be tight, first goal crucial (despite us winning from behind against County)

Go for an optimistic 1-0 home win to set us up for an epic cup away day

I predict that from the outset we’ll be looking at Siegrist rolling it out to Butcher, who will then pass it along to Edwards, who will then pass it back to Butcher, who will in turn roll it out to Smith, who will return it to Butcher who may then get a bit excited and play it all the way out to McMann, who will then play it back to Edwards. As the match lasts for ninety minutes there is totally loads of time so there is no need to rush this bit. Once a bit of exasperated booing starts, we may then see a pass into Pawlett, Clark or McNulty who will then look up to see a defender not unreasonably coming toward them so to be better to be on the safe side, a simple pass back to Butcher will suffice to allow more ‘patient’ possession between the four defenders for another ten minutes.

This will then proceed for the bulk of the game, during which we may score a goal or we may concede a goal but more likely neither.

Would love it to be 5-0 but c’mon we all know what’ll be like. 0-0 every day of the week.

Slightly worried about this game as it is one where Watt is likely to be on the wrong end of some hefty challenges...just hoping that we keep him fit as this season doesn't bare thinking about if he gets hurt!
I will settle for 1-0..with a penalty decision in our favour! I also think its a stick on for a red card being shown!

Mental to think we played second bottom team with 10 men, could only manage a 0-0, and still climbed up a spot in the league. Even crazier to think if we win we could be 4th given our recent record.

Both teams toiling, they seem to have gone downhill since losing watt, but feels a bit like when st mirren were on a rotten run before playing us. They will lump it, we will pass it with no cutting edge.

    I’m going for a terrible 1-1 goalfest.
