I think the danger lies in all the loose rooted trees in the ground. Been a few recently.....it has potential to be bad but we are all fed up with most things at this stage...
I started this thread so you can show any pics of your flower pots knocked over and a few of your up turned garden chairs from the light breeze later.
Storm Dudley was nowt special but these super duper weather models are actually showing a storm of biblical proportions, one that will be talked about for years to come! Hope Kenilworth Road has a strong roof

Just depends where you are I guess. Really battering here in the North East last night and quite a few properties lost electricity. Some damage and lots of fallen trees again.
Not as bad as storm Arwen earlier in the year though. That was the worst storm in my 70 years and over 1 million houses lost electricity for sometime and over 3000 no electricity, heating etc for over a week. My mate and his wife just a few miles away moved into the Premier Inn after 3 days because he couldn’t cope with no hot water or electricity.
About a dozen big trees down within a mile or so of my house then, including two in the house 3 doors away, but thankfully none of mine.
Just got back from our break in Dorset, one day early. Certainly didn't fancy driving through that tomorrow; especially as we were meant to be out of the cottage at 9:00a.m, when it's predicted to be at its peak!
I live in Brean and it's windy now, I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.
Very windy by us last, I cooked a balti for tea 😊 . On a serious note it really was very windy.
Walked through Sutton Park earlier and noticed several trees uprooted with quite a few others damaged.
Here's hoping everyone stays safe tonight and tomorrow.
We’ve got a very tall straight fir here among the other trees that has had big boughs split off twice now in a couple of strong winds. Neighbour on the farm moved her car this morning just in case. I’ve eyed it up and it would definitely reach our roof if it fell this way. Smashed our fence down last time.
According to latest Met office report seems that we're going to be lucky and the storm will not be too bad here in comparison to elsewhere although BBC one differs a bit and forecasts winds of around 60mph Friday. Anyhow, hope everyone else is ok and stays safe.
A lovely, stormy feel to this afternoon’s exercise stint in Chaddesley Corbett.
I love a good storm, I just wish I was down in Cornwall by the sea, Mawgan Porth will be an epic place to be tomorrow.
F u c k it, I might just drive down in the morning for the Hell of it!
These Dawlish webams will give you a ring side view if that's any good.
