Down here in South Wales, there are no trains, no buses and schools are closed. The 2 Severn Bridges are also closed
It’s a matter of using common sense. Whether the public down here have much of that, remains to be seen.
I won’t be going anywhere today.

On the Fylde we're just going through "the calm before the storm", the wind's died down and there was a brief sunny interlude.

Hold on lads ,I can promise you the summer is coming soon, yes the rain snow and the cold is leaving.

I was out in the sunshine watching a few Spoonbills, Redshanks and Black Storks.
The Hills of The Western Galilee, behind them lies Nazareth.

A Black Stork A large population of white storks breeds in central (Poland, Ukraine and Germany) and southern Europe (Spain and Turkey)

Redshanks: Breeds in the Palearctic from central Europe to eastern Siberia; winters in tropical Africa through the Middle East and Indian subcontinent to southeast Asia.

All calm here at the moment, just a bit of sleety rain. Eunice seems to be closing in on the Lancashire coast right now, and is expected to begin wreaking havoc in the Ribble Valley in a couple of hours time.
