Time to put seasonal memberships on sale

Last year, as a marketing ploy, Dane Murphy brought the start of ST sales forrad by several weeks to take advantage of Barnsley being in a period of winning games and dangling the prospect of Premiership football with loan player Dike signed permanently.

There hasn't looked to be an opportunity coming to exploit a positive window for sales this season but I anticipate the winning of three games, dangling the prospect of divisional retention and the signing of one or two loan players permanently presents a marketing window too good to miss for Ahmad this season.

I predict the start of ST sales is imminent.

There’s two they won’t be selling to me.

Nothing to do with performances on the pitch far from it. The West Stand Fiasco and the mention of ground sharing just isn’t the club I’ve supported for more than 60 years !

Armchair / Deckchair supporter for now.

Around 5000 will renew even if Conway (arseoyle) thrashed them daily with a bunch of holly twigs as they writhed naked in a muddy hollow. Good on them, It is their right, their decision. A number of The Friends Of Conway & Khaled Ahmad on BBS are getting giddy over the three wins and are desperate to renew on the back of that.
I would estimate around 2500 have decided not to renew.

It is the band of 4500 of undecided in the middle that Ahmad needs to convince with the "it's in the blood" stuff. Conway (arseoyle) depends on this group to avoid putting a penny of his own money into the club and to take money out to pay for further instalments for buying the club. A Q&A with the Supporters Trust / FOCKA's would help to market the sales.

Have we got a date for that meeting yet ?

I for one despise what the owners put me through when they ejected me from my West stand seat & more or less said if Ididn"t like it I could have my money back which after watching for over 60 years hurt me badly but when the renewal notice drops through my letter box again this spring myself & my grandsons will once again renew , I want to watch my team & this is the most cost effective way of doing it, I was here many many years before the owners arrived & hopefully will still be watching long after they have left . Is there still not supposed to be a take over in the offing ? or has that died a death ? , lets hope talks are going on behind the scenes & new owners are soon on board , I did note that I did not hear any protests on saturday although I do not know if anything had been planned .

I know a number of protesters like myself that are silent Shadrack. I don't come to the matches even though I have a season ticket. You won't hear my voice until next season when I won't be renewing my season ticket. That's my position but I fully respect your position. You have every right to be there because as you say, you've put much more into the club than these current owners.

Ive sort of got that impression as well now, that the possible new owners thing has ended.
I hope I am wrong though and that things are still ongoing.

It would be nice to receive an update on that one Acido.

My hopes for the future of the club and my involvement with it are pinned firmly on the prospect of a change of ownership.

New owners who care would be a blessing.

Yeah they don't have to be English or even come from the taarn for example, although that would be a bonus.
But I would expect them to care and want the best for the team/club, and to actually show some ambition.
And this doesn't even mean them throwing millions at it, which we often get accused of demanding.
