Inter Milan to become Newcastle United feeder club

    https://www.footballtransfertavern.c...to-inter-deal/

    Gents,

looks like PiF are about to purchase Inter Milan. As we are the Premier League team & UEFA rules state that two clubs with the same owner can not compete in the same competition looks like the Italians will be our feeder club

Also looks like PiF are purchasing Marseille. Another feeder club through which we can hoover up all those young talented Francophone African lads.

    Wonder news for the toon!

Not likely, we are the money league. bigger earnings finishing in the top 6th of the prem than winning Serie A.

waste of money if you ask me but guess decent food and good looking women to interfere with on a bi-monthly basis hahaha

Does that mean only one of these clubs can play in future champions league or Europe league campaigns?

    Seems dodgy to me

thats how i see it too. If we come up against Inter in europe, what happens then if we are both owned by PIF

from other reports, they are interested in buying Marseilles as well.

This could be very relevant to the success of NUFC.

Brexit and the new rules mean, british clubs are no longer allowed to sign the best youngsters in europe. So if PIF bought an Italian club and French club, they would act as a way for Newcastle to own the best young talent on the continent and buy them at a minimal price once/if they turn pro
It can also be used to bring in more money to the club, if we sold a fringe player to Marseille for a hugely inflated fee, like 20m for Krafth

Not sure about this. Some sets of fans are going to be very unhappy. After the Ashley years we know very well that it’s the hope of success that drives a club and it’s supporters.

Hatice Cengiz will be on a plane to put a stop to this.
