Thread: Seriously?

  1. #1

    Seriously?

Following Everton’s complaint to about the referee not giving handball, Mike Riley is reported to have called Frank Lampard and the chairman to apologise.

Unbelievable! - I guess we all know what would have happened if we had complained about the Harvey Elliott decision….

Why you apologize to him.... unless you ran out of pies at halftime?

The play was offside. The linesman should have put up his flag as soon as the offiside occurred. the rest of the play was meaningless.

I can't get over how many screw ups have occurred the last 2 years because the linesmen don't put the flag up immediately.

The apologised because it is Frank Lampard, the golden boy.

If we'd complained we'd have been fined.

Or some other rouse to ensure relegation.

If you haven’t read the recent Don Revie biog worth a read just for the insights into how much Alan Hardaker had it in for Revie and Leeds (he even carried on stitching him up as England manager).

If we had the sympathy some clubs get we would have been retrospectively awarded the European trophies we were acknowledged to have been cheated out of by refs banned for life.
