A hectic footie weekend begins with Notts travelling to Aldershot in search of another three points to continue the run and climb the play off berths. Aldershot will be battling for their lives and this one could be a tricky banana skin. Fingers crossed that Ian Burchnall's Stylish 'Pies can give a solid, dominant and intense performance and ultimately deliver the goods come tea time.

Team news at 2:00pm. Commentary on all the usual channels including the web link here.

I hope my fellow Pies have had a good and safe trip down the M1 and M25/M3 and now getting onboard the all important liquids pregame.

Nice pleasant weather greets both teams and sets of fans here in North East Hampshire. Fingers crossed we will be standing and applauding the players come 5:50pm.

Cheers Swale. Do you ever find that the commentary is slow to start via that BBC page? Sometimes it gets stuck on 'coming up' even after kick off. If that happens to anyone else, you can listen via BBC Sounds.

Considering we've got a game on Monday, I hope the players will be heading home by that time.

What if they don't leave till 6:15pm?! Should we worry or do you think Burch has given them the Saturday night off from training?

Yes sometimes, and especially Radio Nottingham's it seems. Same in the BBC Sport app.

I've just been having a look through reports of our early play off finals (when they were called 'Test matches') and I rather wish I hadn't. We were involved three successive seasons from when they were first introduced in 1893. All single match winner-takes-all affairs at neutral venues. The first we led 2-0 after 10 minutes and somehow lost 3-2 to unfancied Darwen to end up being relegated for the first time ever.

The 2nd was exactly four weeks after we won the FA Cup, inbetween time playing one outstanding league game which we lost - which meant we had to play 3rd bottom of the 1st tier Preston who had never previously finished lower than 2nd... 3-0 down at HT we lost 4-0.

The 3rd was the most agonising of all, against Derby County in extreme "wretched" weather at Filbert Street. 1-0 up with five minutes remaining, Derby equalise and then net a winner in the last minute.

I'm a bit concerned about the three in the middle. Time for Brunt to show what he can offer.
