    A couple aussie greats gone

In the last 2 days, we lost 2 great cricketers from heart attacks.
Rodney Marsh most of you may remember was a great wicketkeeper-batsman in the great era of the chappels and Lilleys.
He had a heart attack on a plane and died 3 days later.
Yesterday the real shock was Shane Warne at 52 passed away in Thailand I wonder what he was doing there anyway so young.
Shows when your number is up it doesn't matter who you are or how much you have.

I'm guessing he probably was spending time in Thailand playing up big at one of their casinos?? I'm not sure he would have led the most healthiest of lifestyles...but a hell of a shock to be gone at 52! 🤐 There have been some great spin bowlers, but he was the best that I ever watched for sure.

Not into cricket but I admire him for the spin he got on Liz Hurley.

52 is no age, great shame and must come as a real shock to his family. RIP to a great cricketer.

Sad day but he sure did live life to the full.

He possibly has a claim to be the greatest cricketer ever and certainly made the game more accessible and fun.

Rod Marsh seemed like a fair dinkum proper Aussie

Shane Warne has to go down as one of, if not the best all-round cricket player in terms of not only his skill but the personality and passion he brought to the game.

Guy made some mistakes but to me that just made him all that more relatable, a sad day for Aussie cricket and cricket in general.

RIP Shane Warne, taken far too early,a fantastic Cricketer and all round good guy.He played his first Cricket in England for Accrington in the famous "Lancashire League" .What a character he was.
RIP Rod Marsh,a very good batsman and an even better wicket keeper.
A sad time for Aussie Cricket..
