New terminology / Good old days

Back in the 70s & 80s, all we really had, was centre halves, full backs, a midfield general and a centre forward. Combine that with the good old 442 formation, the old fashioned set piece, throw in a " super sub " that was just about it.
Now we have ball playing CBs, wing backs, Defensive midfielders, No8s, false 9s, set plays, high press, low blocks, sweeper keepers and VAR.
Of course football has progressed, players worldwide now in the Prem, but some of those classic matches form the 70s, the pitches etc, they just go on with it & played whatever.
