was much better I thought. One of the best features was being able to see which posters were active so you could start a conversation with them or post a thread that might interest certain individuals.
Now it's like doing a bit of fishing down the cut, cast your line and see if someone takes a bite.

The mobile version is very restrictive when posting. Have often spent ten minutes or more writing a reply.....only for it to disappear.....
Perhaps the internet's way of telling me it was a shyte response and it made the decision for me ...😇

Posted exactly this about no longer being able to see who was logged in back when the site was downgraded.

Your response from memory was something along the lines of 'why would you want to see who's logged in?'

Put your rod away Des', I've just jumped straight into the keep net to save you the bother of reeling me in 🤣 .

If it's a long post via mobile phone and you're on Android just go into Samsung Notes, write your post then copy and paste it to here. I think you should be able to do similar via iPhone.

If you're posting via an older phone copy it from here before going to preview in case you get logged out having spent a while typing it up, then paste it back to the site should you need to log back in.

Open a Word document if posting via laptop or PC, copy from there once you've checked it then post straight to here.

Despite being aware of these ways around this site I hardly ever do the above myself and end up getting logged out as well 🤣 .
