Important things of yours that you forgot

As a family we were reminiscing this weekend. You know how it goes and I'm always reminded of the time I went home from an afternoon on the local beach with friends. After being at home a friend turned up at ours and asked me if I'd forgotten anything at the beach. I don't think so I replied at which point my daughter got out of his car 😂😂

I went on to leave her again at a village fete with the same bloke fetching her home again.

It's irresponsible I know but how we laugh.

Have you ever forgotten anything or anyone?

    Similar one frog.

Met up with my Son and daughter-in-law and our two year old granddaughter in Cyprus on a holiday.

Went out for the night and the beer and wine was flowing well. Little one wakes up in her pushchair so my Son and I take her for a walk. We end up 20 yard away in the other side of the pub and start playing pool. After several beers and games we decided to rejoin the girls.

We sit down and start talking about who was the best player etc for a few minutes. Suddenly someone asks where the granddaughter was.

We looked at each other and made a mad dash back to other side to find her still fast asleep in her pushchair… 😰 phew!

Obviously we were never trusted to push her around again on the holiday.

NB. Yours takes some beating though….. twice! 🤣

Not a tale like you both but... my wife and I went to a party in Wickersley. We lived in Warde Aldam Crescent and the party was in Scholey Road some short way away. The beer flowed and took my newish wife to the fields at the bottom for a bit of slap and tickle, (what was that song). For some reason I cant recall I went home to Warde Aldam Crescent alone. The divorce papers came through after that.
