    I have my feeling that if we sign him then we may let Buendia go, if we sign Philips the Luiz will go. We may muster 50 mill for the two and an outlay of 90 mill for the incoming. Business done unless he goes for Gomez, then Konsa will go.

    I know what you mean dave. If we get in some quality additions some of our players are too good to sit on the bench every week like Bailey and Buendier. Maybe even Ings.

    Well maybe but you still need a squad. Look at City, Utd, Liverpool. They all rotate, keeping the team fit and ready. I do not see Ings, Buendia or Konsa happy to be squad players and spending the majority of there time on the bench. I can see Gerrard itching for the end of the season as he says to his players, this is the plan, this is who's coming in and if you do not like it, find another club. This is where the players have to think hard, move and face the same scenario or knuckle down and fight for a place!

    True. Only a few months ago Buendier was our best player. Like MON used to say you need to earn the right to ware the shirt. Petrov struggled in his first season and was great after that
