Of course our own League Two status was effectively secured on 19th March at the final whistle of the match against Barrow. At that stage we had 43 points, 9 matches to play and a fortnight later there was the Stevenage v Oldham match to be played.
However, for those who insist on still biting their fingernails, the calculation now is that the maximum number of points that 23rd can finish on is 52 points. This is if Stevenage, Oldham and Barrow win all their matches. There are no matches to be played between these three teams.
Barrow 6 matches 18 points, total 55 points
Oldham 5 matches 15 points, total 52 points
Stevenage 6 matches 18 points, total 55 points
