Marsch questions Bielsa's training methods at Leeds.

Interesting article in the Daily Mail.
He couldn't believe the treatment room when he arrived and said the players were over trained and in a difficult place to recover physically and mentally every week.
He said that some players were at their max after 15 minutes when he arrived.
Does this article resonate with anyone?

It's a strange one with Kelly isn't it! Does he exist? It reminds me of when Curtis Tilt first arrived.......and we know what happened there.Oh and then there was Trevor Clarke, the best thing out of Northern Ireland since George Best!

JB, this has been mentioned on here many times. Warney is a fitness freak so have we the same scenario/set up here at ours? Personally I don't think so as only a fool would damage his own team like that. One thing I'll say for Bielsa is Leeds Utd look like thoroughbred race horses every time I saw them play.

Another way of looking at this would be to ask if either Leeds or Rotherham would have had their respective successes without Bielsa's or PW's training methods

Leeds well up the league, us well clear till we both run out of steam. We certainly didn’t look that fit over the last few games.

I opened this thread regarding Leeds and the Jesse Marsch article to see what everyone thought.Of course we are not a Premier League side but I thought what Marsch said was interesting when you consider that we 'blew up' last season,we've blown up this season and we had blown up the season before but thanks to PPG it was never really considered. There is a pattern and no one can dispute that.I value all opinions and there is no real answer to this other than every time I have seen Jesse Marsch on post match,he uplifts me never mind the squad that plays under him.Americans are very good at that and although sustainability will only be judged by the future they will be in the Premier League next season thanks to him.

That's why I mentioned us making a call to get Ted Lasso onboard for the last 5 games

We don't seem to have our high presssing game as much as before, have we run out of steam aswell? Certainly looks like ideas to me......
