    Miggy

Really happy for the lad as it's not been easy for him since he joined with so much expectation. Wasn't he our record signing before Super Joe?

I do wonder whether he'll be here next season though. Needs to be consistently good between now and the end of the season i reckon

I've always loved his attitude and his workrate and I'd be delighted if Howe could bring the best out of him.

Maybe it's not too late as I thought his time was up.

See also Joelinton, Krafth, Schar and Shelvey.

One player that always works his socks off for the team. Think because of how sh1t we've been before Eddie came in affected his attacking game but the last couple of matches he's looked like the Miggy who plays class for Paraguay. Maybe just needed that South American skill and brain of Bruno to help him. Definitely wouldn't be a player I'd want us to offload.

I think he'll be kept, unless sold for money.

But I would anticipate him staying myself.

Hope he does to, would like to see what he can do under Howe for a full season.

Well both Shelvey and Joelinton have shown a 10/20% plus in their game under EH so if Miggy gets personal attention just a 5% improvement would be a big deal.

Don't think this fire sale and shopping spree will happen. So if a big money offer doesn't come in, there's every chance he'll still be here.

If EH can coax him to score, he is a weapon for sure. If he could have converted 25% of the chances he's blazed, he'd have been one of our top scorers.

Make no mistake - the goal he scored was of the highest quality.

Ridiculous finish. Plus, the control and strength he showed-was like watching a different player.

Sorry, but the stats are pretty damning.

Miggy has 9 goals in 105 prem games (3 assists too)

Schar has 9 goals in 87 games.

Running around a lot and being very smiley isn’t going to help us move up the table next season.

Lingard scored 9 in 16 games while in a team that wanted him (West Ham) and started him… selling Miggy and signing Lingard on a free is a no brainier for me.

Let’s face it, Big Joe up front was more of a goal threat than Miggy 😝

Dont stats have to be restarted from Howe's arrival?

I saw JoLo's stats posted up alongside Declan Rice's on another thread. Not sure if those were from his first day here...

The point is there is a case to sell him and don't be surprised if the reality is that we keep him. He's always had pace to burn with no footballing brain. If Howe is helping him to use whatever little he's got, he could be a useful fast break weapon. Between him, Willock, ASM and Fraser, we've got enough pace in behind to make teams think twice about a high line. Just missing a fast striker and teams would have a problem.

It is easy to make a case to sell him. Question is what you would get for him versus how much teams will look to blackmail us for every transfer.
