Besides exotic birds arriving because of global warming, the warmer climes are also saving lives.

"Climate Change Saves Over Half a Million Lives in England and Wales, Says ONS"

"We found relatively little increase in deaths caused by warmer weather and a reduction in deaths caused by cold winters, leading to a net decrease in deaths."

Over half a million fewer people died in England and Wales over the last 20 years due to a small rise in temperatures, according to recent work by the Office for National Statistics. According to the ONS, reduced climate-related mortality rates were 90% attributable to milder winters and 10% to warmer summers. Over three times the number of lives were extended due to climate change than are said to have been lost in the Covid pandemic.

Wonderful news, but what do the eco loons at the BBC and Grauniad make of this ? Nothing, it doesn't get a mention, they just ignore it, they'd much rather we didn't know.

Back in the 'desolate town of Rishton,' many moons ago, when I was at school, and in summer, the cricket season. In the early morning if we had a cricket match on that day. I used to wake up, dash to the window look outside rain clouds or heavy looking clouds, and wonder, if there would be a cricket match that day. Heavy rain ,then no chance of a game.
