Interesting to check how many of them are now established league clubs

The main thing that struck me compiling that list was just how low so many of those clubs have finished before getting out. It's almost inconceivable that Notts could finish lower than 7th, how bad would we have to be to finish out of the play offs? Yet so many ex-league clubs have.

The other thing of note is that if we don't go up next season we will at least equal Mansfield's 5 year stay at this level.

The problem is that this league is now a darn sight tougher to get out off.

Not so much tougher but that a lot of the less fancied clubs such as Wrexham / Stockport / Solihull are having money thrown at them which evens the playing field for better supported clubs like Notts and Chesterfield who you would usually expect to get out fairly quickly. Yes our timing for a stint in non league is extremely poor! If last season was "normal" you would have expected Wrexham and Stockport to be on the fringes of the play offs and Solihull to be in division 28 or whatever.
