Why Duff is just what we need right now

Have to say I have been impressed so far with what Duff has come out and said. Yes it is very early days but I see similarities with him and Ismael in how he will quickly assert himself on this squad.

A good & balanced write up that Manc. I've a good feeling about Duff, he comes across as an honest, likeable blowk who'll be firm but fair. The club's been crying out for this kind of head coach. I just hope he gets the time to try and get the club back on track.

I like the idea that hes going to keep his eye on certain things at first, and take extra notice of their attitudes.
Sort out those who do want to be here, and throw out those who don't lol.
And there will still be a few no doubt, who will be feeling sorry for themselves after that disgusting season, where it was never their fault of course.
This is going to be interesting seeing Duff sort through the deadwood, as he looks to turn us into a competitive team again.
And after hearing him say the things he has (very similar to how Val started of course), it just makes me more angry when I think of Conway & co appointing those two appalling coaches last season. Sheer incompetence that was, but alas, we move on now in a much more positive way. 👍
