O/T Anyone had trouble with their energy supplier recently?

I was paying £91 per month for about 5 months and then EDF put it up to £215 a month out of the blue, no messages, no emails, they just changed the direct debit....

I complained it was too much and they quickly got to work....a few days later i checked my account and they'd put my DD up to £881!...........work that one out

Hi James, look for a local rep of Utility Warehouse. For the last five years I've been with them, gas, electricity, phone, mobile and internet. When I first started more than five years ago the combined bill was just under £90 per callendar month and my last June bill was £117.

If you can't find a local rep then give me a tug and I'll put you in touch with my local one in Surrey who is also a friend but was able to set up another friend in Lancashire who is saving £'s per month.

    Cheers Bill

EDF have lowered my DD to £130 in the last hour or so which is more reasonable. I've never heard of Utility Warehouse so will look into them this afternoon. Thanks again

They are quite a small but well established company based in north London and they take on the whole aspect, gas, elec. phone, broardband and mobile. Plus if you are a big shop spender many other discounts and deals especially for younger family shoppers.

You could do worse than get a competitive quotation even over the phone if you want me to put you in touch.

    Try https://uw.co.uk/

It's only my energy that's the issue really. Phone is £8 a month and broadband £15 which is very cheap compared to some people's.

I will mull it over in the next few days and let you about contacting your rep

    Cheers Bill
