How do you (armchair) watch Villa?

    As Exiled's agreed ...

I hope Oz doesn't mind me sharing this, but I had this idea for a thread a few months ago when we were, by virtue of technology, watching a Villa match "together" on opposite sides of the world.

It occurred to me we have very different watching styles - I am pretty quiet, apart from the odd hearty "yessss!" when we score and "noooo!" when we concede, where Oz provides a running commentary! Oz totally focussed on game where I was typically female multi-tasking, with half an eye how our fantasy team members were doing during quiet moments and at half time.

I think I had strawberries for match nibbles that day. Can't remember what Oz had, but probably much less healthy.

So, it got me wondering how you guys watch Villa matches at home?

Didn’t agree Win, just always the democrat . Anyway, I can just ghost past the threads, as with the FF stuff.

RE your Q, this is not a confession to an ailment of disrepute, but I’ve got a ‘dodgy box’

Ha ha I knew that, Exiled, it was ... umm ... a "Boris" style interpretation of your words to suit myself ...

Tbh I actually prefer having a cosy Tavern we can go to for non footy chats, but just being pragmatic, and hoping more people will join in on the main board ...

    A dodgy box, Exiled?!

So when you do watch the Villa live, do you shout at the telly, talk about big foot, make notes on players' hairlines, or perhaps you are as quiet as a mouse?

Ooops sorry guys - it just occurred to me that I worded my question badly! When I say how, I mean what's your watching style? Shouty, chilled, opinionated, want everyone to be quiet, snacks, drinks etc. Set the scene

For me, everyone must leave the room, if it's on sky or the beeb, if I'm streaming I tend to take myself to another room but shut the door, I must concentrate 100%

I usually watch on the laptop via a stream, sometimes with a beer and sometimes not - I cannot multitask

Dazzy, that gave me a much needed laugh - I can just imagine you doing that!

Loving reading about and imagining how you all watch the game - only me that multi tasks so far then! I bet Hubball and Bongo do some sneaky checking up on the Fantasy League too
