A good signing for them but that is a lot of money. I hope he has a terrible debut.

Clearly followed the money, which at 30 I guess you can't blame him - will be his last big pay day.

However, if he keeps them up, then it's money well spent.

Agreed - hope his prem debut for them is awful.

That money is just a rumour methinks.

If that's true, I'm glad he's not pulling that wedge at our shop

Even if it is a rumour, he'll be on significantly more than the 30-40K most of the top players are on there.

If he doesn't perform, that could really start poisoning the squad.

If it's even half that, he'd better score a shitload of goals for them.

Canny to see Forest back although I haven't forgiven Ian bastard Woan.

Even if Lingard wanted the lower wages reported of £130,000 i still think it would have been way too much. Bearing in mind Bruno is on £80,000 a week

Our wage structure is going to have to change to compete with the best clubs in the world but there's a right/sensible way of doing it

Aye, even given the fact that he was free, no way could he get 50 grand more than Brub=no.

Thought this Tweet summed up the Lingard transfer pretty well:
