MillersMad Matchthread - The Millers v Huddersfield

I bet they've been working their nadds off! Taylor and Carlisle will have had a good week to look at the squad of players we have and today we'll have a glimpse of what their first team choices will be.

It's going to be interesting to see what other changes to individual players they instill. I say this because against Blackburn I saw a calmer, more measured style of play from Rathbone. In fact I thought that the whole of the midfield seemed more mature! You may have seen it differently.

Huddersfield, I find are a bloody annoying team . The best thing about them was seeing them get to Wembley after a play off semi-final win.

Enjoy the match boys and girls.

    COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!

    BTTS and Rotherham win 4/1

But the problem with having £20 on that. Although it is good value, it makes you want the opposition to score.

It’s fine if we are 3/4 nil up. But not at 1-0

I love having a little flutter, especially on football, but I'm a "horses for courses" believer and a studier of form which takes in previous encounters. So with that in mind I can't see a Miller's victory today against a team who've been one of our biggest "jinxes" over the years. We've not beaten the Terriers since 1992 and in that time we've played them ten times at home, not good. Sorry for being negative but I'm being realistic regarding our chances today and I get the feeling that even though Huddersfield aren't pulling up any trees this season, they'll show their best form against us. I've had a bet on a Huddersfield win and both teams to score @ 11/2 with Coral.

Is Ogbene injured then? and why isn't Norton-Cuffy starting? Strange!

Or is it just MT doing things his way?

As said many times here, he sees them in training

Yes it could very well be that Grist, but Norton-Cuffy has been probably our most consistent player in games. Ogbene not so much ...
