    Our kit sponsorship

Even in these poor financial times for everyone , you would have thought the Club would have been on this to generate some income ? The last lot should have had this in place , I fully expected a well known name on the shirt , we now have lost CK BECKETT , PALMER CONTRUCTION , INVESTMENT ROOMS , although I heard 1 of them maybe coming back on reduced sponsorship ? Similar the local Car dealership which was very nearly lost , a rumour going round is if No sponsor is found , Barnsley Hospice and Weston Park Hospital may feature one on the Home Strip and the Other on the away strip ,
Who is in charge of attracting potential sponsers at Oakwell ?

Din't they say it will be sorted in the upcoming weeks, however long that will be. And Im afraid it reflects poorly on Khalid again, as the Ceo.

I like the look of the new red shirt by the way, very plain old fashioned red n white, which is good. In fact a number of fans say they like it blank as it is at the moment, with no sponsor name. 👍

Agree Roma, we must have one of the worst commercial teams in the football league, been the same for a long time. Much smaller clubs than Barnsley manage to attract big name sponsorship for their stadium , shirts and stands. We don’t even chase up the money that corporate guests run up.

Very strange why it doesn’t get sorted

The Arseoyle promised we would have the global scale sponsorship of multi billion companies.

Instead we got the local "Homes under the Hammer" crew( knock through that stud wall Dion), The Investment Room.

It's abart "free" advertising on TV for their companies which would otherwise cost a fortune per second.

Now we are a Third Division club with nowhere near the TV exposure of Premiership and Championship clubs major sponsors are difficult to attract. We are back to the days of local car dealers such as Hayselden or local companies like Shaw Carpets( we went darn faster than a Shaw's carpet last season).

Worrabart "Norwood and Perrins" or "Dave Shaw's Chipoyle" ?

    Luvvit

Jerry the Berry's backing duo look like Gally and Loko.

"What is it? Inflatable for Khaled Ahmad. Sounds like a good swap."

Was a complete farse. The open days of last few years have been a shadow of what they used to be. Pretty much everything used to be open and nothing was really off limits. Plus plenty of freebies and decent merchandise. One stall with the guy who does the paintings is all I saw. One of the better ones was actually back in 03 when VK were the sponsor....and to think the club at the time had just come out of administration!
