    McNeil scores two

One great shot and a header...
Will be interesting to follow a few of our previous players this season.

Have you watched them Will - it’s like someone took two stone off his shoulders straight back to where he was at the start for us.

A typical Mcneil finish and a header arriving in the box WTF

The difference is astounding maybe the manager just said your here now express yourself and boy he did

Looked cheap at £20 million. Does Pace know what he is doing?

McNeil was one of the players who talked about “freedom” under Jackson when we had that spell of games at the end of the season.

I recall several people commenting after the first game against Brighton last season that Potter changed the tactics at half time and Dyche had no response. We went on to lose that match. No Plan B.

As sinkov has pointed out previously, the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and hoping for a different outcome. That was Burnley under Dyche. In fairness to him, his hands were tied thanks to Garlick not releasing funds.

Hopefully, under Lampard, everyone will see the best of McNeil who often cut a frustrated and downhearted figure in the last season.

I just viewed his goals. Looked to be playing in a central position. I just hope he can keep it up.

He's done the right thing moving to Everton, but after seeing the way we played last night it's a shame he's gone, he would have had a field day at Huddersfield in that set up last night.

I have a feeling Vinny will put that dosh to good use Sinkov unless it is forwarded to the Garlick foundation.

He did say last night we needed more players, just how much Mr Pace will allocate to him is anyone's guess, but we won't be spending big, that's for certain.
