    Russian Embassy in the UK

Why are these scum bags not departed immediately:

Russian embassy in UK calls for Ukraine's Azov battalion to be executed
The Russian embassy in the UK has come under fire after it said members of Ukraine's Azov battalion "deserve execution".

In a statement on social media, the embassy said the group, which originated as a far-right paramilitary unit, were "not real soldiers" and "deserve a humiliating death".

Following the message, Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the Ukrainian presidency, wrote on Telegram: "Russia is a terrorist state.

"In the 21st century, only savages and terrorists can talk at the diplomatic level about the fact that people deserve to be executed by hanging. Russia is a state sponsor of terrorism. What more evidence is needed?"

Meanwhile, Labour MP, Chris Bryant, said: "This should be illegal. This is calling for war crimes.

"It is time the UK sent the whole Russian embassy packing back to Moscow."

I have to agree Al, but that's the way Russians talk, they are all about threats and bullying.
The only thing they respect is someone who stands up to them.

And they have made an art form out of lieing to people and countries.
Pack them all up and send them back to their beloved motherland....

Totally agree. The only way to deal with bullies is to stand up to them as they view any kind of appeasement as weakness.

Putin is also a hypocrite of course as on one hand he claims that other westerners who are fighting alongside Ukrainians (even if they are official members of the Ukrainian armed forces) are not proper soldiers whilst on the other he uses the mercenaries of the Wagner group to shore up shortfalls in the Russian army as well as actively recruiting from Syria and Africa.

I don’t know why we still have diplomatic relations with Putin’s odious Russian regime. They clearly have total disregard for international institutions and rule of law. Act with complete barbarism in Ukraine and elsewhere. Use lies and propaganda to control their own people and have done for years. God knows you can get thrown into prison for 15 years for even mentioning there is a war and suggesting a different POV. And all because they have nuclear weapons ... any country who disagrees is threatened with nuclear oblivion. Quite unbelievable they get away with this. Imagine if it was the US threatening the same .... there would be global outrage and protests on the streets .

Feel it’s time for countries to decide which side they are on. For all our faults as a country ... and we have many ... no one is thrown in jail for disagreeing with the government. Dictatorship v democracy .... we should be thankful......

Retaining the Russian embassy ensures that we have an immediate access point to deal with matters as they arise. What is said in private between diplomats usually goes unreported. You never know when that channel of communication may be urgently required.

That’s my point! Countries like Hungary, Brazil and India should decide outright whose side they favour rather than fence sitting. India buying cheap Russian oil so they should be sanctioned and foreign aid withdrawn! Can’t have it both ways. Same with Hungary - can’t have their cake and eat it!

All Russians should have their visas withdrawn too ie in Finland where they still pour over the border.

What I don’t get is why we continue to even talk to them, Patton was right in 45 when he said we should continue past Berlin and go all the way to Moscow, nothing but Orcs!
