Anxiety About Sports You Don’t Care About!?

Always seems to happen at major games such as Olympics etc and Commonwealth.

Sat here sweating about the women’s mountain biking FFS.

    It was bowls yesterday.

    Why!!? 🤔🤣

It's the women's biking that's playing on your mind. Not since the 80's have you had a good ride by the local bike

I was more concerned about Stan Collymore emerging from the bushes on Cannock Chase when the ladies were racing!

Curling during the Winter Olympics. I could sit and watch that s hit for hours while not being remotely interested in sweeping the patio at any time of the year 😊 .

Curling is the first sign of wearing a cap and cords and looking up boules in your area 😭

Bit like watching Crown Green bowling on telly. I remember back in the day watching some bloke smoking a pipe whilst tossing his balls and knocking his jack off the grass. Was anxiously hoping he would win. He must be dead now.

I think that you're talking about David Bryant Phil. He played lawn bowls and always had a pipe in his mouth. I took up lawn bowls in the 80's after my football, cricket career was on the way out. Thoroughly enjoyed the game and even got to County level before hanging up my woods in the mid 90's. The wife has just started to take it up which frees up my time for more golf!

Just seen this as I was watching McColgan win the 10,000m and yes I was a bit anxious towards the end!
