A pop star you wanted to be when you were young?

My music hero when I was a lad was Brian Connolly from Sweet, for me the guy was so cool and with the best hairstyle of the era! 😎

    Bob Dylan.

Everything about the guy, his music, his words, his vision and despite the fact he couldn’t sing the way the songs made such an impact on me. Still do in fact.

Not a popstar but my music likes are not strictly pop but Edgar Froese - my inspiration to learn keyboards.

I would have liked Mario Lanzo's voice, Peter Green's guitar skills as for looks I'll stick with mine.

At 13 I was totally hooked on this sound and would so liked to have been one of my bad boy heroes

I never wanted to be anyone but myself. How about Elvis impersonator s, as rare as Gull s hit on a cliff face.
Most of them are fat middle aged men. A bit sad.
I think it's worrying when grown men have an obsession with another man.
