the times are going to change very soon

The UK media have always been responsible for promoting their darlings and putting down the unfavourable people/clubs.

I see Gerrard and Lampoon , media darlings of the last 20 years have got off to a great start. Plsses me off how anything to do with our club is negative yet these two are always put on a pedestal.

I remember the season we finished 5th, Barton and Nolan were the best 2 English midfielders for the entire season stats wise yet they got nowhere near the national team, these two were certainties though.

Even now the media love them as managers, yet Howe and Potter are never mentioned.

I cant wait to see these two feckers fall flat on their faces, Gerrard won a two horse race in Scotland, Lampoon FAILED to get a championship club promoted after spending big and raiding Chelsea for loans but they are top class managers.

One thing is for sure, the so called big 6 spending money they dont have and speculating on their own futures to keep in the top 6 will come back to bite them in backside.

I hope they all go the way of Barcelona, a club that will be non existent in 5 years when the financial bubble bursts, and you can bank on the global recession coming shortly

sorry for the rant but grrrrr

Well today Lampard couldn’t even best Forest at home and I watched the Villa game. They were dismantled by Palace. Apart from Potter and Howe, Vieira is also ahead of those two.
The press need to forget the (great) players they were and concentrate on their managerial records.

Yes mate, i do like Vieria, he has the calm presence of somebody building something in his own time. Palace are very good on the attack.

im not holding much hope for tomorrow though, i put a tenner on Haaland to score first and Man City win 0-1 @ 30/1

head says 0-4, although we have not conceded, they will tear us apart if we defend like we did last week

True, true, true. Good, even great players don't naturally become good managers.

Proof, Cabbageheed and MacMuffin were decent players in their own right but useless managers.

And look at the likes of Paul Ince and Sol Cambell expecting to drop into top jobs. You have to prove yourself in the lower divisions first as Sir Bobby did with Ipswich.

The only one I can recall hitting the ground running, and did he deserve it too, was the Mighty K.K. Had it all and did it all and didn't need to prove himself to anyone.

i actually think Rooney did a good job at Derby, not too fond of the bloke but he did a lot better than many could have, cleaning up Franks mess.

The Sol Campbell thing was a bit bizarre, didnt he take over a club, spend loads of money or make crazy signings then have to sell asap or something?

I think there was something funny going on with Sol Campbell there. After he packed it in you never heard a murmer from him. Didn't make a fuss about it at all.

    Anyone know what happened there???

Aye - I was thinking this earlier.

About Howe and Potter never mention yet "Lamps" and "Stevie G" are apperently amazing.

I do think that Gerrard will become a good, competent premiership manager personally.

Lampard. . . I dunno, struggle to see it sometimes.
