Where are the goals coming from guys?

I know the window has not shut as yet and the team is new and players need to adjust not only to a new way of playing, but in some cases a new country and language. I like the new style and when it up to speed I think it will be really good to watch and pay dividends for us. We have just signed a new Keeper so maybe PF will be going and there is talk VK want 3/4 new player as yet including a CB and a STRIKER!! To my main point getting Strikers is not easy and usually costs serious money. Given where we are now, with 2 over 30-year-old strikers more prone to injury it seems to me finishing is going to be our main frustrating issue. Who do you see solving this in the squad and any thought to any realistic new strikers we could add?

The goals will come from ten outfield players, spread out in single, crucial goals. We will manage about 80 goals I reckon, which will get us a play-off berth.

I think this issue, lack of goals, will resolve itself. Create more chances, get bodies into the box and the goals will come. Tella, Twine when fit, Jay, Brownhill, Bastien, Maatsen, any of them, they can all chip in as Vinni said they would. No guarantees if you buy a striker, Wood scored 26 in two seasons and dried up, Vydra scored for fun at Watford and Derby, couldn't do it for us, Juke was a prolific scorer at every club he's played for, but never scored a goal for us, Weghorst was 4th top scorer in the Bundesliga, £12m down the pan, remember Rouwen Hennings, big scorer for Karlsruher and Dusseldorf, just the one goal for us.

We'll be fine, instead of chucking good money after bad, hoping to find that elusive goalscorer, let Mr Pace pay off some of our debt with it, that's where it's needed.

Bearing in mind the style of play - more possession based - what type of striker would be looking for? An Andre Grey/ Danny Ings type or a Wood type?

I would suggest the former and someone who is clinical in front of goal. Not easy to find.

I’m with sinkov. I think we do have goalscorers in the team and it will come. Let’s look at the financial security of the club. VK has talked about that on more than one occasion - not as complaint - but as one of the priorities.
