    Maguire?

Now he's been dumped, should we, dare we ask for him maybe, on Loan?

Jürgen Klopp desperately went in search of an appeal in an attempt to force Manchester United into playing Harry Maguire last night!

I can sense doubt, trepidation, and mischief in your post, Dave. Here are 3 reasons that are clouding any positive thoughts over Maguire.

    1. A Mykonos judge may well decide Maguire’s next destination. If Greek prisons are anything like their Holiday appartments/studios, then he’s in for a rough old time. We found a pair of Leonidas’s underpants under our bed, when last there.

    2. He’s sluggish and flat-footed.

    3. I’d feel dirty.

I know that beggars can’t be choosers, at the end of the window. But with Hause now off to Watford, if we don’t sign a CB or two, then my support for the manager will waver. In fact, he can do one for gross dereliction of duty.

Good points but as we practice here at work, no such thing as a silly question, I mean just look at Boris or Bongo!
I actually think Purslow reads the fans posts and changed his mind to use the funds on a defender, it all then made sense. Now we are after a defender, he has to be of the same standard as Carlos.

Maguire could well come under the title of "Silly answer" tho, Dave .

We could be at the "any port in a storm" stage, Dave, but like you, I shudder at the thought.

Loads of talk about CBs from Southampton (as you've already pointed out), and now some chap from PSG, no less, kin-nell

I would take him. I would also seriously consider getting Grealish back. Totally wasted at City
