To be fair Grist gru usually tells us that warney picked the wrong team and his substitutions made us worse, and that's when we've won 😆😆 UTM

I get that a Manager saying we were out played in some areas but, I too don't like bigging up the opposition, it makes you sound weak.

In all fairness though what could he really say?

I absolutely agree with you about that, it is something PW did the last time we were in the championship, and whilst he has a point about the quality of opposition we face at this level, we need to address it in a better way to get the point across to our players without trying to frighten them to death. It's called being honest, a rare commodity these days.
I'm pretty sure he tells the players how great they are the rest of the time.

So we weren't very good then?

There was enough in the performance to say how good we were without saying much about the opposition

    The balance is all wrong

He was pointing out that we took a point against decent opposition. Surely that's a compliment to Rotherham?

Can you imagine the reaction on here if he had said that we played them off the park and should have taken all 3 points? I can. And some of that reaction would have come from those who are now complaining that Warne spoke the truth.

So far so good for you chaps - 2 good away points and 4 points at home - play-off form that.
