Including the Carabao Cup he has played 8 games, scored 3 goals and has 2 assists. In those 8 games Barnsley have scored 9 goals and JOsh is their leading goalscorer.

No its not your favourite Yorkie, I'll have to do instead lol.
I was going to mention Benson again, and that hes looked a lot different for us so far under Duff & Paterson.
But I din't think you'd be interested as you've got your own Burnsley Fc to worry about. 😊
So nahh we've signed another one of your attacking central midfielders, is he any good ? lol.

One of Clitheroe's young players, Bailey Sloane, just signed for Accrington Stanley, a club higher up the League than Barnsley, although I wouldn't expect him to be straight into the first team, more one for the future.

It does beg the question again though, when Clitheroe can supply players for D1 level, what is the point of our Academy/Youth Development/ Dev Squad, when for all the money spent on it, D1 level seems to be the best it can do ?

It is a necessity if we get promoted to the Premier League. So let's scrap it and always just miss out on promotion so we don't have to set it up again.
When the FL stipulate that Championship clubs must also have an Academy we can then get relegated and become a League One team.
We could keep this up and hope for another Orient game sometime in the future ----proper football.

We have to have one then Sub, fair enough, the question then is, why can't we have one that produces players for our first team ?

Sean Dyche was getting it in the neck for not giving our youngsters a chance, VK has come in, taken one look at them and immediately endorsed Sean's view, they're not good enough, even though we are now down a level in the Championship.
