    Football at all levels postponed.

Not sure where I stand on this. Part of me thinks that it is the correct thing to do yet another part of me thinks that it is not disrespectful and should have carried on. What does perplex me is that cricket, golf, rugby union plus other sports start up again on Saturday but not other sports such as football, rugby league, boxing. I honestly don't know.

A couple of days of reflection isn’t a bad thing for anyone in life, this weekend just feels wrong to be doing sport in this country.

I thought it would be better for the games to go ahead and for a tribute to be paid before those games.

Seemed the more logical thing to happen. Rugby and Cricket are being played, so why not football?

It may well be to do with the excessive goal celebrations of both supporters and players in football. Also, football has more than its fair share of morons, some of whom may well have brought the game into disrespect with some bad taste chanting. That’s football for ya!

I'm not surprised matches are cancelled but very disappointed.

You are right! Sadly, there are very few morons who go to Cricket, Rugby or Tennis - it's football that attracts them! Even some of the football players are morons and thick as s hite!

You don’t like the use of “batters” at cricket but you use the word “ya” Kets!

Unbecoming of a grammar school boy! 😏

I was booked to take my daughter and grand daughter to Rebecca Menzies stableyard this morning as part of the National Racehorse Week initiative.

It is showing career opportunities within the industry plus how a professional stable works. Even those events have been cancelled today. So disappointing.

Absolutely, some football fans have difficulty spelling their own name.
