    Wigan & their goal posts

Apparently ones two inches higher than the other goal. They lost 1-3 to Cardiff but it looks like they may have to replay the game.

But wasn’t it the same for both sides?

Or was it fixed during the game?

Either way I would have thought a fine would suffice

On a similar topic, will we go for the hat trick and have the away end nets collapse during the next home game?

The game kicked off seven minutes late as Cardiff caretaker manager, Mark Hudson, tried to raise the issue - but agreed the match should go ahead after being told it would take up to two hours to investigate.

Both managers were aware and agreed to the game going ahead.

    A replay is unlikely.

Who first spotted a 2 inch difference from the halfway line? Must have an eyesight like a s.hithouse rat as they use to say in ‘Brook’ back in the day.

Maybe the keeper thought he had shrunk during the night

This once happened at dvs.think it was Leeds league cup game.it was on sky anyway.one of the goals were too low and ref Scott mathieson wouldn’t allow the game to start unless it was altered so out come some 4 by 2 and was stuck under each frame and once mathieson had got his own tape measure out (yes he was joiner in his full time job and it was in his car) and it was correct size the game was allowed to start…
